I was reviewing the roles and responsibilities and a few of the other documents under: http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOT/Home I must say I was very impressed with how well organized everything is. My only concern is that I think we will need to extend the "committer" section to explain the responsibilities of committers with regard to ensuring that all code is properly licensed and legitimately placed within the project. That is it is knowingly provided by someone authorized to contribute it. I don't have any "canned text" to address this yet, and I must admit this hasn't been addressed for any of the other projects as far as I know. Perhaps the incubator could prepare some stock text on this. For the rest of the projects in the incubator, I would encourage a quick review of the above documents. I think they can be a model for our other communities.
