Spent a day getting reacquainted with FM. Thought I would throw out a
quick update.
List of modules in the build:
module/coverage
module/referencing
module/api
module/main
ext/xml
ext/gml2
The xml and gml2 extensions are some of the gtxml based stuff that have
been going on over the last year. No parsing yet, for now its being used
to map from an xml schema to a "Schema" in the new geoapi model.
The reason being to be able to populate feature type builders with types
from the gml schema. So that when you create a feature type, it extends
from a AbstractFeatureType, etc.. I beleive this is a step up from the
old model as the core feature model doesn't assume its based on gml, all
that is done in the gml plugin.
With feature type builders that build us "gml-like" features (similar to
old model) we are in a position to move toward the data subsystem and
getting one of the datastores ported over.
