Og not know.  Og only know 191xx numbers.  Rob Atkinson seemed to be pretty
knowledgeable.  If the mail archives were working, I could provide a link
to his rather informative description.

My understanding (from Rob's email) is that it can describe feature or
coverage data, and therefore represents a data store which could return
either features or coverages.  This, the MODIS fire product, and "GML in
JP2K" make me want a data store framework which can handle features and
coverages.  Until then, I think features and "raster coverages" could be
represented separately by the current system.

So yeah, we could probably use it out of the box as another data format, if
someone were to write a plugin.
