Note it's an 'mvn install', not a 'maven install'. 2.2.x has upgraded
to Maven 2, Maven 1 build is no longer maintained. That might be the
source of problems?

svn update updated a bunch of files but got some errors and I'm not sure if
it finished with the update.
Attempting to do a Maven build I had errors that api-2.3.x.jar,
referencing-2.3.x.jar, coverage-2.3.x.jar and sample-data-2.3.x.jar failed
to download and were unsatisfied dependencies.
Using Tomcat but need to do more? Need to support web services, security?
