The "build.properties" files are a remanescence of the Maven 1 build that I
forgot to delete. I will
delete them in all modules tomorrow if nobody object. The complete list is:

The property directory in the gt/demo directory sound like a submodule for
demonstrating
PropertyDataStore capabilities.
