So far I have just been wondering if we can collapse the event system used in catalog with the event system used in org.getools.event. (they both follow the same pattern of allowing subscription to events at the "base" of a tree, w/ individual changes being described by a delta used to navigate the tree, and the ability to batch up several changes into a more amusing delta).
But I rant, let me know when you are "Ready", and if possible can we do this before 2.2.0 goes gold? I do not want to play the deprecation dance any more then we have to ...
