We still have some showstoppers on the geotools 2.2 release ... I tried

In the GeoTools IRC you will find the following mentioned:
- need javadocs figured out, but martin is away so perhaps someone else 
will have to post (unless rgould knows the magic)
- need JMapPane moved to ext for acuster's documentation efforts, I am 
working on this in an hour or so, acuster will review friday

So a sensible plan is to try for Friday, and announce during the 
geotools meeting Monday after GeoServer uDig have had a chance to kick 
the release
around.
Aside: I am also working on resolving bug GEO-901 concerning null 
handling of the compare filters. I am sure this fix will be ready in time.
