So this has been going through Jira but I am not sure that is sufficient
- http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOT-902

Andrea, can we work through these problems before doing anything on
trunk with JMapPane?
> Futher Cleanup:
> -----------------------
> There is still some minor cleanup to be done, notes are below:
>
> (1) Could edu.psu.geovista.swing.MapViewer.java be brought into some
> example/testing dir in the geotools namesapce?
This should be done, part of moving the code to geotools....
> (2) Could the CRSpicker also be brought into the geotools namespace.
No.
> (3) Could the CRSpicker be fixed so it works?
Not in the time available, lets cut it form the build and make use of a
simple Spring Prompt for now?

And some more:
> To Do list: (may repeat stuff above)
>
> (1) change ext/pom.xml -> add mappane module
This appears to be still on going?
> (2) move org.psu.geovistat.geotools -> edu.psu... (wrong top level
> domain)
>
> (3) rm edu.psu.geovista.geotools.filter* (filter was some other spike
> effort of ian's)
>
> (4) ?mv edu.psu.geovista.swing.MapViewer.java into
> org.geotools.gui.example ? (This class is Ian's user code example)
>
> 5) fix CRSpicker: if you run MapViewer, you see it balks on CRSpicker
>
> (6) Is there a way to make a test on this code? Could MapViewer be run
> in some way? I was imagining we could cause it to generate an image
> and check that image against a stored file.

Adrian I am not sure updating the GEOT-902 bug will be sufficient for
communication on this one ... I do not read the bug reports nor know
which ones are in the way of making the release.

Jody
