I agree. I will put that on my todo list after I finished to pull my all my emails. Right now, classed that contains Proj4 derived work are flagged in two ways: 1) They contains the following in the list of copyright holders: * (C) 2000, Frank Warmerdam 2) They contains the following notice after the LGPL licence: * This package contains formulas from the PROJ package of USGS. * USGS's work is fully acknowledged here. This derived work has * been relicensed under LGPL with Frank Warmerdam's permission. Example: http://svn.geotools.org/geotools/trunk/gt/module/referencing/src/org/geotools/referencing/operation/projection/AlbersEqualArea.java > I have continued your practice of crediting the OGC when we reference > their specifications ... but this was casuse for some amusement in > the metadata.iso package .... > > * This package contains documentation from OpenGIS specifications. > * OpenGIS consortium's work is fully acknowledged here. > > Should not the ISO specification be credited? Or maybe we should credit OGC/ISO, since OGC specifications are freely available while ISO are usually not. The relationship with OGC is what made those specifications available for us. Will put that on my todo list too. Martin. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more? Need to support web services, security?
