I am wondering about the file sizes, I know some files have started 
including a link to source code in the class javadoc statement. I cannot
recall exactly how this was done, if the source file was inlcuded it may 
explain the javadoc size.  If it is linking straight to svn then we
would need to search for other answers.

Another idea would be to limit the javadocs to only expose public and 
protected methods (ie all that would be of interest to a geotools
user). We should also confirm we are not sucking up javadocs for the 
various test cases (worst case including test data).
