Hello Simone

SoftHashMap (recently added) seems to be adapted from the following page:

http://www.javaspecialists.co.za/archive/newsletter.do?issue=015&locale=en_US

It contains the following copyright:

     (C)opyright Maximum Solutions, South Africa
Reprint Rights. Copyright subsists in all the material included in this
email, but you may
freely share the entire email with anyone you feel may be interested, and
you may reprint
excerpts both online and offline provided that you acknowledge the source
as follows: This
material from The Java(tm) Specialists' Newsletter by Maximum Solutions
(South Africa).
Please contact Maximum Solutions for more information.

At the bottom of the above-cited web page, there is a "Please contact us if you
would like to
reproduce this material." where "contact us" is an hyperlink. Would it be
possible to contact them
in order to know if we are allowed to distribute derivative work under LGPL
license in Geotools
please? If we can't, we have other alternatives (duplicate WeakValueHashMap,
using Apache libraries,
rewrite from scratch, etc.).

        Martin.
