XML Parser exception reporting is too terse.

Right now all exceptions by the XML parser are wrapped by a SAX Exception.
Because Java 1.4 is used only the message, not the stack trace is not reported.
I suggest logging the stack trace so that it is retrievable. Also I would
like to throw RuntimeExceptions since they should be bugs with the code not
with the xml.
