Yes we can get Maven to perform automatic search and replace. This is called 
"filtered resources" or something like that. It was my intend to put filtered 
resources in place a little bit later (maybe in one month, after reorganisation 
of Geotools directory according Maven 2 standard layout). Filtered resources 
would remove the need for manual change in openoffice module during a release.

Maybe we could ommit this readme file for this -M0 milestone?
