Currently I am at the OOPSLA conference where I am about to see a presentation by one of your colleagues on tracking shipping containers (and will be looking into uDig integration later). Actually I have just attended a talk by one of the designers of the "new" Java collections API and we do surprisingly well at following the good practice thus presented. Of course I did learn a few things, and between that and the talk on Fortress I may finally have an interesting approach for the dreaded operations. On a related note I have started designing an experimental oracle DataStore (with an eye towards maintenance), and would like to send you some mad drawings for your consideration.
