That is a good point Andrea; let me figure that out as I do research. I 
am expecting it to be very similar to WMS (although I know not
what a "layer" should be called from a Tile Service - Pyramid seems a 
good suggestions. And I will also find out if different Pyramids have 
different
supported zoom levels etc...
