Hey all, you had figured this out while I was away.
I deleted the space since, as I understood things, the space had been created for the user's manual which I was writing and which had moved to docbook. I was unaware that others were putting stuff into that space. When I was changing the links on the Geotools homepage it seemed reasonable to delete the space to prevent users becoming confused by out of date docs of which we have *much* too many. I will no longer touch the space but would encourage those with information there to move their info and delete the space. Search engines probably have the space in their databases and users might be led to the outdated docs if they remain. If you want to keep the space, then please delete the early chapters and the title.
