Indeed it's true... we are all too busy to handle every new direction 
change. Yet I don't like the way this has been handled.
If everybody started acting like this trunk would become a dump where 
nobody is willing to work. The nice thing about these interfaces is that 
they are easily removed without harming too much the rest of the code,
should we decide that it's not the right time to have them in.

Btw, I see you still haven't committed renderer changes, Eclipse does 
not find any usage of Source besides the JPox data store and some 
catalog stuff.
