I do not know the extent of this dependence, but it seems that this issue
certainly seems related to an eventual integration of 19108 into the code
base.  I made a JIRA for it and stuck Alex with it, as he's the one who
implemented it.  It'll be at least a couple of weeks before he starts
working for us again (another project got him.)
