XDO is "XML Data Objects" (similar to Java Data Objects) it is the name we gave to David Zwiers parser when he punted it off as a separate open source project. He made one release; when we tried to update GeoTools to use it we failed ... so GeoTools still uses its own "alpha" version of XDO.
How about this: library/xdo - hold our alpha version of xdo library/xsd - hold justins parser and the SAX and DOM parsers extension/xml extension/xml/filter extension/xml/gml extension/xml/sld And yes Justin you are right we did talk about this before - maybe this time we will write it down.
