Hi Cameron, I think reading is a fair assumption. I am unsure about writing though. It sounds like it might be a good idea for a georss module in GeoTools that could be used in both uDig and Mapbuilder. I'm not familiar with the GeoRSS spec myself, so I can't really comment myself. And at this point I am unfamiliar with the exact implementation details of the work that Rui will be doing this summer.
