Hi - I maintain the geometryless module, and its working on trunk, with the goal for being supported for the 2.4 release. It was broken from geotools 2.2 but I have little interest in pre-ISO feature model stuff, and not the time to back-port it, but would be willing to support someone who did care. NB it will be bundled as part of an update to the "Community Schemas Support" thread of geoserver, as a plugin bundled with Geoserver 1.6, with a download to be provided on sourceforge shortly (currently under final testing for such a release.

Some stuff has been floating around relating to connection pooling that will affect this module, probably in the timeframe.

Anyway, let me know your needs...

Unsupported status means a module is unmaintained or does not meet QA standards (documentation, test coverage, ...). If no one steps up to bring "geometryless" up to snuff before the 2.4.0 release, it will not be part of the download available on sourceforge.

Nudge, nudge -- this is your chance to rescue this module ;)

Such work should take place on trunk -- the 2.3.x branch is stable and can only accept bug fixes.

Cheers,
Cory.
