As we cannot, by any means, interfere with the working library, neither
supported or unsupported modules, and the current data access API (DataStore)
works over the geotools feature model, we need an alternative that can work
with plain GeoAPI Features.
The {{DataAccess}} API Jody was trying out in the api module seems to fit.
