Hi, me, Justin and other people at Geoserver have just wasted a few hours tracking a bug in our template outputs which roots in a breakage of javabean conventions...
Basically, we use a dot notation looking like: request.bbox.minX (this is the freemarker way to access nested properties in freemarker templates) in the hope of accessing the minX property, but we get a method back. As it turns out, ReferencedEnvelope has in fact a minX() method, which has been introduced in 2.4 (revision 24925, Jody), and has already been deprecated (revision 25385, Martin).... now since we never published a final API with that method, can't we just remove it straight away? I don't see anything in the standard build using it, but it may be that the new geometry modules use it...
