This last week, my work was slowed down a bit.
I'm studying a more bit deeper the available JHDF library since there are
some lacks on them and, with my mentor, we are studying for a little
revisiting.
The weeks before, I produced some code (containing some new interfaces, code
corrections and a bit of refactoring) but it still uncomitted since I'm also
taking a look on the work produced by FireLabs on MODIS which should provide
me some ideas and walk-through to improve my work.
HDF is a very complex format and different sub-formats use very different
data structures. Build a Universal/very-generic HDF plugin (not
product-specific) is not a so easy task, especially when available libraries
have some limitations :)
