Agreed on 1, agreed with Rob that anything that gets into supported
status in 2.4.x should do the same in trunk, as for 3, I'm fine with
it, but it may be less thought on our users if we released the
unsupported (but compiling) modules anyways, putting them into an
unsupported category/zip/whatever.
Just enough to make them stand out and make it clear that we need
help from them.
