I noticed that "internalization" of a serialized CRS (in the sense of
java.io.Serializable) doesn't work as expected. The referencing module
contains serialization tests that I disabled a long time ago because I
didn't managed to find why it was not working.

A third option is to investigate what is going wrong with CRS
serialization...
