Johann,
the module is indeed interesting and there as been much demand for
it by users.

I see you've already set up a directory in svn, hrm, this is not
how things are supposed to be done. The rule says you propose
a module, at least one PMC member gives you the ok, and then you
set it up (if you already got the get go on IRC, sorry).

Oh, I don't know how the module is structured, but I'd like
the module to be a library one, that is, all components no
demo, and then you can set up a separate demo module to
show off the components in action. Anyways, just an idea,
as long as the module is unsupported the demos may well be
included among the tests (so that they don't influence the
size of the actual library jar).
