ArcSDE fails with versioning tables.

ArcSDE instance grsvr.exe fails on attributes query when tables are versioning.
The same query with non-versioned tables are ok(no instance fail).
ArcSDE without versioning is nonsense.
To repeat this try:
1. Create or copy the layer in ArcCatalog (for example, TEST_LINE in
unit-tests)
2. Mark it as versioning.
3. Register it with GeoServer.
4. Open demo with OpenLayer.js
5. Single click on the feature to query attributes.
6. ArcSDE instance will fail. Debug window popup.
7. Close popup.
8. But attributes returned ok to OpenLayers.
9. INFO message from GeoServer that "connection closed".
I have no ideas why this may happen. I waste a time with sources of plugin and
can't resolve this myself.
This is not cosmetic bug. I need to close popup windows to continue every time.
