Hey all, I'm looking for insights you all may have had from the content management world. I'm doing background reading on the catalog stuff for geotools, uDig and, by extension, geoserver.
Does anyone know if there is a way to isolate certain object types when adding them to content management systems (repositories) so their actual storage can be determined. Is the ebRIM profile for GIS going to isolate the big geospatial data to let it be stored in a different way, e.g. PostGIS, or is that profile only going to cover 'metadata'? Does anyone have a good understanding of the differences between the JCP API (JSR-170 and JSR-283) in comparison to the JAXR API. Do any of you know how people work with 'leaky' content management systems, i.e. mixed systems where some resources are managed and some are not? Likely this doesn't make any sense and i'll only find out after lots of reading. So back to it! --adrian ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc. Still grepping through log files to find problems?
