Martin (et al), I have checked out, 'clean install'-ed and then eclipse:eclipse-d the gt-prefix-removal branch. I then did a clean and build inside eclipse on the imported projects. Everything went 100% fine (except the problem noted below).
I used the following command line to do the eclipse:eclipse-ing: $ mvn -Dmaven.test.skip -Declipse.projectNameTemplate="2.5.x-noprefix-[artifactId]" eclipse:clean eclipse:eclipse I came across one problem when doing this. There are two projects named 'mappane' One is in demo/ and one is in unsupported/ These conflict with each other when trying to import the projects into eclipse. You can choose to skip the one in unsupported and everything will work, but it's hard to figure out which one this is. I suggest changing the name of that project (at least it's finalName) so as to avoid this problem.
