I think, the cost to maintain the jts fork is expensive. We are not doing big 
change in the jts base code, but we will spend a lot of time in maintenance 
tasks. Thinking in progress listener, we could suggest to jts people to add 
some call back or listeners to allow a better control from the client 
modules.
