I do not master this technology, but if we have someone at hand with good JNDI
knowledge, switching to JNDI seems a good idea to me. Just wonder: is it
possible to do with JNDI something equivalent to "give me whatever factory
having LENIENT_DATUM_SHIFT = whatever"?
