Maybe accept "as is" for now (adding the author name in copyright header), and
rewrite later? I tend (okay, I admit too agresively) to rewrite code often,
including my own code. If we require every future contributions to be done under
the agreement, this issue may vanish in an unknown amount of years since I
believe that soon or later any piece of code has some chances to be rewriten. My
director two years ago was one of the "Prolog IV" language designer (used in
artificial intelligence). He teached me that if, when we finished a program, we
don't feel the need to rewrite it from sratch, it would means that we have lean
nothing.
