It should be enough for the time being, at least to get the sample geoserver configuration and module test cases that were working previously back to a building state. By looking at CQL svn logs, the defect seems to have been introduced by the latest changes to handle quotes on string literals as function parameters, since its using regular expressions to collect the parameter from the first double quote up to the last one, disregarding in-between them there might be other expressions. Or something like that.

Regarding the need for support, as usual in the open source arena, support is always required, either in the form of bug reports, patches, etc. So if you're willing to give it a try feel free to do so. About the future of the project, I'm trying to keep it up to date as API changes arise, though tied to spare time right now. > > Maybe Jody or Shaon could update me. Rob Atkinson has been the lead so far so I'd recommend asking him, though yeah, it'd be nice to know if there're more folks out there interested in funding further development.
