We have basically stopped doing Milestone releases; as 90% of our 
developers are just using Maven. It may be worth while cutting one a 
gain if their is need.

In general upgrading from 2.4 to 2.5 has not been too bad; around 4 - 8 
days per project... and there are steps (like using Expression to access 
content) that can make it even easier.
