Congratulations on your success! EDIGeo, for those who don't know, is the French contribution to the gis data format cesspool. Their national mapping agency, IGN, uses that format to distribute their data.
Mathieu, I think everyone in the geotools community would welcome your contribution of the data store as a module and your participation in the project. Good to hear you are going to set up a module page; that is indeed the first step. Also, I would encourage you to push us to look at your code. Since 2.5 has a new set of interfaces for data storage, I imagine it would be quite easy to get lost between the old and new approaches to data storage (say over using the Gt Filters). It would be good to make sure you land your work as clean code using the new api. Looking forward to trying out your module someday, --adrian On Sun, 2008-03-30 at 20:28 +0200, Mathieu Coudert wrote: > Hi all, > > I have implemented an EDIGéO datastore, which is supposed to be used > in Spatial Data Integrator(SDI) as an input supported format. > FYI, EDIGéO format is a standardized format commonly used in France > for the exchange of geographical information. > > If the Geotools community interested in this module, I will be happy > to contribute it. > Moreover, it would be also great to get some feedback on the code from > people who know more about Geotools than I do. > > I will try this week to set up a wiki page describing the module. > > Cheers, > > -- > Mathieu Coudert > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace. > It's the best place to buy or sell services for > just about anything Open Source. > http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;164216239;13503038;w?http://sf.net/marketplace > _______________________________________________ Geotools-devel mailing list > Geotools-devel@lists.sourceforge.net > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/geotools-devel ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
