Hi Ben, I went to http://gridlock.openplans.org:8080/hudson/ and kicked manually a 2.4.x build using the start button at the far side of the projects table. Just after that a 1.6.x build engaged automatically and it went fine. How to avoid this issue... not sure. Afaik builds are triggered so that after a gt 2.4.x build a gs 1.6.x is done, but the opposite is missing (check gt 2.4.x svn for changes before building 1.6.x) and I don't really know if this is possible at all in hudson...
