Actually the whole purpose of this "module renaming" action is to get those nightly builds to work better, including nightly javadoc generation. Things run more smoothly with Maven when the module names match the directory names. We will make this site more publicly visible when we will get the nightly built fully completed up to Maven site. The module renaming is a helpful step toward this goal. >> The renaming of the wfs module in the extension/xsd one gives in >> the target/binaries directory of Geotools a jar named >> "gt-ext-xsd-xsd-wfs-2.5-SNAPSHOT.jar". > > Before we had two prefixes on this jar, after "prefix removal" we have four! > I call this funny. > But seriously: This is one "xsd-" too much. Yes this is reason why Cédric ask for advice (there is different approach for getting ride of the extra xsd suffix: rename the module or change the <finalName> element). But Jody came with an other proposal last Friday. I will write a proposal page for that and let people know.
