Not to worry; I am just trying to be good and send email after Gabriel
and I figure something out on IRC.

I do seem to have found an actual problem now ... failing to make a
rectangle because the points are out side of what
is valid for the SeLayer. The thing is I am using the SeLayer set up by
the test case ...

The ArcSDE I am testing against is on the other side of the world; and I
am guessing in order to match my jar to server.

I am not familiar with HibernateTemplate; should I look at that for
inspiration?

That is part and parcel with setting up a command queue is it not? We
need to hide that SeConnection and protect it with lock or queue or
we face death by multiple threads.

I am not interested in stepping away from the jsde api; just control the
context in which geotools code
makes use of it. While I understood the suggestion; it scared me as too
much work for little gain.

Well this is fun; I just wish for a safety net of test cases and a known
server to run them against.
