This boils down to adding an expression encoding abilities to the SQLBuilder,
so that users can build their own special queries (in particular, for the
select part). For completeness, we should also expose a method that allows for
encoding a filter... this would make the interface more consistent and would
allow the creation of "group by" and "having" parts of a sql queries in the
future
