There we have it; the two ways in which GeoTools cannot just get by with 
JTS even for a simple concept like Rectangle:
- we interact with non JTS libraries
- we are interested in work beyond what JTS can accomplish

And the acknowledgement from all sides that JTS is useful and allows us 
to handle a range of topics today.
