Which means there must be money behind it, which means it would make sense for those benefiting from GeoTools being supported on WebSphere to spend the time needed to contribute patches. Are you interested in having the commit access for the sole purpose of keeping gt2 buildable with IBM JDK? With a few working patches we can give you commit access, then you would just have to ask the module maitainer to give a look at a patch before committing it, instead of waiting for him to commit for you.
