There's some French in javadocs in an encoding other than UTF-8 floating around in the render submodule of the main library which I'm tripping up on in my header work. Seems awfully sloppy. Apparently this got ported from somewhere else without being edited into english---I suspect it's Martin's code originally but since he doesn't touch the 'lite' renderer, it must have been ported in. Anyhow, I'm clobbering the accents with utf-8 question marks which is ugly but I couldn't be bothered to deal with this slop as well as with the headers.
