Actually, I'm working with some HDF files containing packed data related to
some geophysic quantities (as an instance, SST), together with attributes
scale/offset to transform packed -> geophysic.
Simone suggested me to take a look at the classes in coverage module:
ViewsManager/Viewtype and their interactions with other classes. I have
found the page http://geotools.codehaus.org/Improve+support+of+RGB+coveragesbut
it seems on a very initial stage. I would like to understand how can I
leverage on these classes and how they should be used with gridCoverages (I
also would use it in the context of rasterSymbolizer use), thus I'm looking
for some info on them.
Is there somewhere some documentation on the cited classes as well as some
explanations about how they are involved in GridCoverages access?
As a starting point I will take a look on the available javadoc.
