Both this week and last week we have been trying to nail down the release timeline for GeoTools 2.5.x. First of all this release represents one of the largest chunks of work since GeoTools 2.0 and everyone should be congratulated. New feature model; move to Java 5; the list goes on ...
In both meetings we have figured out the following (please reply to this message for anything I have forgotten): MUST HAVE - JSR-275 - proposal page made; this represents one of the final steps on our migration to Java 5. - Migration plan from Eclesia for styling; we expect a few methods to be added to our existing interfaces; allowing a smooth migration for GeoTools 2.6.0. NICE TO HAVE - GeoAPI Graduation - Test cases for Categorization Functions - Anything from the Technical Debt page - Review of Referencing work since 2007 (or big warning in the javadocs) If anyone has any dates of when they would like to see a 2.5.0 release - please reply to this message.
