It wont be easy to backport the swing widgets (i'm talking about the 
swing widget pending module, not swing widget martin made) to geotools 
and it wont be possible do simply make a dependency to it.
That's because several geotools modules have been deeply revisited (some 
of them completly rewritten), like style, render, sld, image ...
