Hi Rini

the need for this module (and geometryless) is under review, given
discussions about the new JDBC datastore replacement and the
app-schemas modules. Specifically we are looking at whether a more
powerful "join" paradigm will work as part of feature building, and
whether mapping multiple database columns intoa geometry object is
just a special case of a complex data type.

Will address via JIRA as our thinking progresses.
