Hi,
I was wondering if everybody is 100% happy with the way
the commits ml is setup.
In particular, in my opinion the is room from improvement
for what concerns the sender mail address and the subject line.

Every time someone commits on the gt2 svn I get a mail sent by
svn_geoto...@osgeo.org whose subject may be something like:
[Geotools-commits] svn - r32241 -
branches/2.5.x/modules/library/main/src/main/java/org/geotools/gml/producer

So I don't know, at a first glance, who did the change, and what
the change is intended to do.

Compare this with the GeoServer commits ml hosted by codehaus.
When I commit there everybody gets a message sent by aa...@codehaus.org
whose subject is something like:
[geoserver-scm] [11065] trunk/src/wfs/src/test/java/org/geoserver/wfs:
GEOS-2386 Have FeatureBounding affect the feature collection bounds as well

Glancing over the mail list I can see who did what and decide if
I want to look into the commit further. With the GeoTools one, if
I want to know what's going on, I have to check each mail contents.

I know this is pretty minor, but it would be nice if the osgeo
ml was setup at least a bit like the codehaus one... if not the
"who", having at leat the "what" (commit message) would be a
welcome change.

If it's difficult or it takes too much time, never mind, I guess
this is just a pet peeve of mine anyways.

Cheers
Andrea
