My problem is with 2.0.10, which does build GeoTools. I decided on a
conservative upgrade to support -o with snapshots, and avoided 2.1.0;
shortly after, this Andrea reported the problems with 2.1.0.

I am not sure if the platform encoding warning is cosmetic, or could be
a problem if I lose my mind and try to build a release under Win32.
Normally we take our release builds from our Debian continuous
integration server, so this point may be moot.
