The following hints
Hints.GEOMETRY_SIMPLIFICATION
Hints.GEOMETRY_GENERALIZATION
are implemented only for DB2 (The generalization is supported, the
simplification is not).
As far as I know postigs has also a st_generalize function, Oracle has
something called simplify, ....
This issue is created only as a reminder.
Implementing is easy, look at:
DB2SQLDialect
addSupportedHints
encodeGeometryColumnGeneralized
